MultiPar gives you the possibility of protecting data against corruption, accidental or malicious damage and other unpleasant events, by creating Parchive files. Despite its simple appearance, the software has more to offer than traditional backup utilities. It lets you create par files, which you can use to recover any kind of files if they get damaged. The software is designed to be a simpler alternative to QuickPar, with its streamlined user interface and enhanced functionality.

You can have MultiPar up and running on your computer in no time. It works on all modern Windows platforms and you don't have to meet any special requirements to run it. Furthermore, the software doesn't ask for too much disk space or RAM, so you can run it even on older machines.

All the controls you need are presented on a compact user interface, in a well organized manner. You can import single files or entire folders into a list, on the top part of the window. It is sufficient to import your files and click a button, but you can make a wide range of tweaks along the way. The software lets you make block count adjustments, increase or decrease data redundancy, set a number of recovery blocks and files and much more.

MultiPar's functionality is similar to that of QuickPar. However, the software has its own advantages to offer. The most important one is the fact that it provides full support for par and par2 files. Additionally, MultiPar has support for par3, which is its own experimental version.

If you are looking for a reliable solution for protecting data against damage and corruption, then MultiPar is something you should definitely try.

Pros

The software can generate par files to protect data against corruption and damage. It provides support for par and par2 and it also comes with its own experimental par3 version.

Cons

There are no obvious issues to mention.
